Handmade Silk Tote Bag
Mairead brought me a handful of gorgeous silk fabrics from Roberta out in the wilds of County Antrim. So beautiful, a little bit stiff like upholstery fabric, and with sheens that change in every light. I cut them up and assembled them into a tote bag — just big enough for a laptop plus a few books and apples. It is my new favorite! We’ll see how long it survives the Pittsburgh Public Transit System.
