A new crop of fresh white architectural bags, Pittsburgh houses! Screenprinted onto brushed white canvas, with a screenprinted Pittsburgh on the other side. There’s about five of the bags, all medium-small size, lunch-picnic size. The ink is auburn, sometimes with a hint of purple. All up on Etsy!

I am dedicated to cleaning through my workspace piles before the Big Move next month. As such, a lot of unfortunate doll corpses are going to be brought back to life in other forms. Like here! She was one of my first ever Belfast dolls, I just cut her front half off, piled some hair on top of her, and sewed her onto a giant cerulean paisley tote bag. There you go: Dork Girl Bag!

Two more tote bags, this time monstrous! Both are heart monsters, one is purple striped, the other blue velvet. Psycho eyes? Singing teeth? Who knows what is going on, I chalk it up more to my late night sewing skills than gurgles of a subsconscious that needs investigation. The Three Trees Bag

All the scraps from recent elephant-monster-dress projects have circled into the foliage of these trees. Thanks to the ladies at St. Bernards Sewing Circle for their upholstery donations — after entering first into life as stuffed softies, now it’s tote bags. Three windy trees on each, with circles of scrap fabrics for leaves. Applique on a sturdy pale green canvas, there you have a Three Tree Tote Bag.
