Great Moments in Administrative Law: Sun-Ray Drive-In Dairy

One of the great moments in Administrative Law—this hand-drawn print illustrates the case of Sun Ray Drive-In Dairy v. Oregon Liquor Control Commission, a landmark on questions of agency discretion, constitutional process, and the role of procedural fairness in regulatory enforcement.

Drawn during my 2L year while studying Admin Law, this print is part of my “great moments in doctrine” series—where the abstract meets the absurd and the procedural becomes personal. It’s part casebook, part commentary, and a colorful reminder that even milk and liquor can raise constitutional questions.

You can get an art print on premium paper over at my Etsy shop.
