Istanbul neighborhood hand-drawn map

hand drawn map of Fatih neighborhood

This is a richly detailed, hand-drawn illustration of Istanbul, created during a summer I spent living in the city back in 2011. Inspired by the energy of the streets, the layered neighborhoods, and the nonstop hum of daily life, this piece captures the color, motion, and architectural texture of a city always in motion.

This is the plainer version of another variation, the fully detailed Fatih neighborhood map drawing that you can see over here.

Every inch is filled with detail—markets, mosques, rooftops, ferries, winding streets, and tiny surprises for those who take a closer look. It’s a visual tribute to the beauty and bustle of Istanbul, drawn with love and memory.

You can buy an art print of this Istanbul neighborhood over here on my Etsy shop.

Printed in full color on premium heavyweight matte paper with a soft, smooth, non-reflective finish.
Archival quality, perfect for home, studio, or anyone dreaming of the Bosphorus.

Thanks for visiting—güle güle!
